Toshiba adds to notebook battery recall list Toshiba has advised that it has added another three more notebooks to the list of models subject to a battery recall following reports of overheating.
Around 1400 units of the affected Satellite A100, Satellite A105 and Tecra A7 notebooks were sold in the US, plus an unspecified number in other countries.
The company is replacing the affected batteries at no charge. Details of how to identify an affected computer or accessory battery can be found on Toshiba's web sites (eg, US and Australia).
